News continues to spread about the tremendous
leadership being shown in Kent County as a result of
the Creating Community for a Lifetime initiative.
A new website designed to showcase Michigan's
Aging Initiatives and help position Michigan as a
leader in preparing our communities for the future is
featuring Grand Rapids along with four other
communities. It is all part of the AARP Livable
Communities project. Click on the icon to the right
to visit the website.
The CCFL initiative has also received positive press in
numerous media outlets and a recent article in the
Michigan Office of Services to the Aging newsletter.
We still need your help in spreading the news!
Please consider putting an article in your
organization's newsletter on CCFL and the recently
released report. An article template is available and
ready to be edited to fit your needs.
