aquinas emeritus college scholarships still available

The Aquinas Emeritus College has a number of scholarships available for people ages 50+ who have not previously attended the program. In order to take advantage of the scholarships, download the Emeritus Bulletin. Fill out the enrollment form and send it in with a note that says- GRFOUNDATION/EMERITUS SCHOLARSHIP. This will officially enroll you...unless a class is filled to capacity. You may also enroll over the phone at (616) 632-2430.

  • A growing number of organizations continue to implement the numerous recommendations outlined in the CCFL roadmap. Specifically, significant strides are taking place in the areas of transportation, caregiving, physical activity and nutrition, mental health, and social and civic engagement. If you or your organization would like to share how you are implementing the recommendations, please forward your updates to kluckert@grfoundation.org so that they can be included in the next newsletter.

  • Grand Valley is hosting the "The Art and Science of Aging: Creativity, Growth, and Social Transformation 20/20" Second Annual Gerontology Conference on February 16, 2007. The conference features Dr. Gene Cohen, Center On Aging, Health & Humanities, George Washington University and Paul McConaughy, with the Michigan Vital Aging Think Tank and MSU Extension.
