Community Forum
The Creating Community for a Lifetime planning process is built on a foundation of community data-gathering and analysis. At the initiativeās opening event, the May 25, 2004 public forum on "A New Vision of Aging," over 400 forum attendees had an opportunity to provide feedback on their perceptions of how Kent County measures up as a "community for a lifetime." The attendees participated in an interactive, instant-results, electronic survey through which they answered questions about the impact of aging issues on them and on the community.
The forum information-gathering session was not a scientific or random survey, but, as the first of a variety of opportunities for community input, it does provide thought-provoking feedback. To view information about the forum and survey results in PDF format click below.
